It's the most wonderful time of the year! The holiday season is a great time to unwind with family and friends and enjoy some much-needed relaxation. This year might look a bit different, but don't let it damper your holiday spirit and spread the holiday cheer!

1. Décor, décor, décor

The holidays are a great time to put up your festive lights, and extravagant décor! You can go all out or be simple with it… the decision is yours! Try adding some DIY this year to your holiday décor by bringing the outdoors inside! You can add pinecones, pine needles, dried flowers, berries, or twigs to make your own custom design! If you really want to go all out, you can even try making a homemade gift this year… it really is the thought that counts. Check out some different holiday DIY ideas here from House & Home.

2. Crisp outdoor air

Just because it's getting colder outside, doesn't mean you can't safely enjoy some winter fun! Winter activities are a great way to stay active and breathe in the cool fresh air. Try skating, skiing, snowboarding, snow-tubing, building a snowman, making snow angels, and other fun winter activities this season.

3. Cookie exchange

Who doesn't love cookies? Now is the perfect time to try that new festive cookie recipe. Ask a few friends to make some cookies and you have yourself a holiday cookie swap! You can try different warm and indulgent flavours while exploring new recipes! Drop them off outside each other's house to minimize contact! Check out some delectable recipes here.

4. Relaxation

It doesn't happen too often when we get to unwind and reflect on the year we've had. Take some time for yourself to relax and do the things YOU love this holiday season. Whether it's holiday baking, binge watching Hallmark movies, or exploring the outdoors, you deserve to have some fun, the way you want to!
