Centurion Property Associates Inc is pleased to announce that it has launched Centurion Apartment REIT, a private real estate investment trust focused on the acquisition, ownership and management of apartment properties in Canada. This REIT launch represents the culmination of over six years of portfolio building which has seen Centurion grow to 23 properties in 14 cities and towns in Canada with 1,179 rental suites in a number of private funds. This REIT conversion represents the next natural stage of growth for the company. August 31, 2007 - Centurion acquires 165 Old Muskoka Road in Gravenhurst ON containing 39 apartment suites and 2&4 Yonge Street North in Huntsville ON containing 25 suites.

 

August 14, 2007 - Centurion acquires 55 William Street in Milverton ON, an apartment property with 22 suites.

 

August 1, 2007 - Centurion acquires 118 St Josephs Drive in  Hamilton ON, a 30 suite apartment property.  This transaction increases the Centurion portfolio to 89 suites in Hamilton in 

 

July 27, 2007 - Centurion acquires 524 Main St East in Hamilton ON, a 23 suite apartment property bringing the Hamilton portfolio to 89 suites.

 

July 1, 2007 - Centurion acquires a portfolio of 196 apartment suites in Kitchener ON in three separate properties including 356&360 Hoffman Street, 167 Morgan Avenue and 15-25 Hugo Crescent.  This transaction brings Centurions suite count in Kitchener to 228 in four separate properties.

 

June 29, 2007 - Centurion acquires 36 Orchard View & 70 Orchard View in Oshawa ON, containing 24 apartment suites and 255 Dunlop St in Barrie ON a maisonette townhouse property with 28 units.
